HiPERiSM Consulting Air Quality Modeling Services offers computing resources with:
  • A cluster consisting of a heterogeneous collection of nodes with 336 cores
  • 14 HP blades plus 5 nodes all supporting dual CPUs connected via a 10GigE switch
  • The blade chassis has an internal switch connecting the 14 HP blades with uplinks to the 10GigE switch to join all cluster nodes together
  • An Infiniband (IB) fabric connecting all nodes with bandwidth peak of 40G bits/sec
  • Data storage with multiple rotating hard drives and two RAID servers
  • A Linux operating system
  • Multiple compilers
  • Three post processing and developmental nodes
